The Day I Started Blogging, What Was I Thinking?

If you would have asked me 6 months ago about blogging and if I would own a blog, my reply would have been a solid NO but here am I posting and publishing on my blog.

Why I started this blog?
Those who really know me know that am a phone freak, I got addicted to using phones in a way to curb boredom but it turned out to be an addiction. Couldn't help

I met this friend of mine while I was looking for ways to promote my designs bet you didn't know I design graphics too and she introduced me to her brother that blogs. I had a chat with the guy and he suggested a lot of platforms and mentioned 'blogging'. In my mind I was like:

Blogging? No way I can't run a blog and study at the same time

I sat down one day and thought of it and decided to buy the idea. I didn't even know where to start from and I was shy to ask the guy how to start. It's normal you know lol

I started searching for how to create a blog on Google and tips on keeping a blog and stuffs like that.

I started this blog as a design blog but I was getting interested in the things that were happening around me then I swung to a news blog. And fortunately, I have decided to keep it as my personal and lifestyle blog.

Why I started blogging

Since I created this blog, I've learnt so many things, in just 4 months. Apart from keeping me busy, I've been able to

  • Make new friends
  • Meet other bloggers in and outside my country
  • Help others create their blog
  • Improve my writing skill
  • Generate money
  • Learn web design (am still learning though)
  • Share my opinion on things happening
  • Write about whatever pleases me

I'm glad I've been able to make out the best outta the time I spend on my gadgets. It is really great being my own boss wink, you too can. You can Create your own blog.

You've read why I started blogging, I would be glad to also know why you started your blog.
