Happy 56th Independence day Nigeria

October 1st, 2016, marks 56 years of Nigeria's independence. As we as a country go through a rather trying phase — politically, economically and socially, days such as this should come as a reminder of what our ancestors fought for, and so that we could live in a free country.

Let's stop asking what our country can do for us but rather what we can do for our country.
