Learn How To Create A Blog With Blogger

A lot of people have asked me how to create a blog and listing the steps to each person can be time consuming that's the reason I'm writing this post to show you how you can get your own blog in the blink of an eye. I know that by now you must have known the reasons you need a blog and what you want to blog about so needless asking about that let's start right away.

Search for www.blogger.com using a browser of your choice, I will recommend Chrome cause that's what I use, its easy and fast.

Sign in your Google account. If you don't have an account yet then you have to create one.

Choose the name you will be be using to sign your blog post and press Continue.

Click on New Blog and a Create a new blog window will come up for you to create your blog.

Choose and type in the title you desire for your blog then select the available URL that matches with the blog's title.

Note: If the address is already taken there will be a yellow box with an exclamation mark. If the address is available, a blue box with a check mark will show.

Choose a Template, I will suggest that you use a Simple template at this point then you can customise it later on.

Click on Create blog!

To write your first post, click New post, you will find it by the top left hand side. Your title goes into the Post title box.

The body of your post will go into the Compose text editor, where you will also be able to access basic text editor functions such as font size, text color, the ability to put in links.

You can now either select Save now to save your post, Preview to preview your post before publishing to your blog, or Publish Post to publish your post.

If you want to change the design of your blog from the template you selected initially, you can do so by clicking the Template tab.
Beware! Editing HTML is only for bloggers that have knowledge about CSS and HTML codes or you get a website designer to edit it for you.

Click the Settings tab to adjust other settings such as who is able to view, contribute to, or comment on your blog, what have you.

To arrange the blog the way you want it to be, go to Layout, when you click on Add a Gadget, a window hosting all the gadgets will come up and you choose the gadget to insert at any point on the blog.
